Here are some tips for taking care of your premium vegan items.
- Store them properly when not wearing them. Keep them in their original box or a cloth shoe bag, stuffed with tissue paper to help them hold their shape. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Clean them regularly. Use a soft cloth to remove dirt after each wear. Wipe them down with a damp cloth. Use a vegan leather cleaner or mild soap and water to clean the exterior if needed. Avoid submerging them in water.
- Condition the material. Use a vegan leather conditioner every few months to keep the material supple. Rub it in with a soft cloth.
- Protect them from moisture. Spray with a vegan waterproofing spray before wearing in rain or snow. It helps repel water. Reapply as needed.
- Avoid direct heat. Don't place them near heat vents or in direct sunlight for long periods of time. The heat can dry out and crack vegan leather.
- Get minor repairs. Take them to a cobbler right away if you notice any tears or damage. It's easier to fix small issues before they worsen.
- Consider adding rubber soles. Having a cobbler add non-slip rubber soles can help extend the life of the boots and improve traction.
With proper care and storage, your vegan boots can last for years. Be gentle, clean and condition them regularly, and protect them from moisture and heat damage. Investing in some vegan care supplies helps keep them in top condition.
I was the only one with shoes on at the endof a wedding these clogs are so comfy and stylish, I got so many compliments and they were great for dancing 💃55356,
I’ve owned 3 pair of Bhava Clogs for 2 years now and I absolutely love them. Bhava creates shoes with high quality craftsmanship, ultra-comfort, and with style and beauty. I love that the clogs come with extra cork footbeds and protective bags for storage. I live in these clogs all summer long and they offer comfort and support for those that are on their feet all day like I am. The Lila in black gets worn the most but I love them all. If i had it my way, I’d own every style of shoe and boot Bhava makes in every color! I can’t recommend enough.
The cork insole offers a great cushioning for your feet and the shoes themselves are obviously cute and of very high quality and craftsmanship.
I’ve been eyeing a pair of Bhava platforms for almost a year and finally after spring cleaning bought a pair in February. These are really comfortable and I love wearing them. It took a few minutes of walking around the house to get used to them because the wood platforms are a hard material and different to most other types of shoes. I recommend caution wearing these on really uneven ground like large gravel, but they are great and comfy on any relatively even surfaces.
I purchased the Lila Wood Clog in black in early spring along with 2 other clogs. I LOVE all of them but this one has been worn 90% of the time. I am an endurance athlete and a store manager on my feet on hard flooring all day, every day and these clogs are incredibly comfortable and supportive. 100% worth the investment and I have gotten compliments all summer long. I was worried about spending so much money on 3 pairs but they have all been completely worth the investment!
